It's fracking late (don't say frickin, it's crass). I was studying for bio. Yeah bio exam tomorrow.
I talked to Matt for an hour and something on the phone tonight. Good times.
We went to Target.. we being Emily, John and I. John said "Your mom is a coat rack". Ummm.. okay. I bought eye drops because I am having a reoccurrence of that eye issue I had last summer. I'm sure you guys remember my getting off the bus after the trip to the DR with bright red eyes. It doesn't hurt, but Em is still taking me to urgent care tomorrow after my classes are done. Greene Memorial only.
Studied with Criste and Matt tonight. Okay, so we got some things done. We talked about the draft, crowns in heaven, french fries, Matt's wife *wow*, and the fact that cristae are the folds in mitichondria, which is the site of cellular respiration. I'm sure you all wanted to know that.
I am Miss October in Old Theatre's "Favorite Freshman" calendar. Janna Smith is Miss September and Jon Thomas is Mr. March. That's all.
I think they need more favorite freshmen.
Good Stuff: Filmed an SGA video. Talked to Dayna on the phone. Giggled with Emily a lot. Ate french fries.
Not so Fabulous: My eye feels weird. FAILED a calculus quiz (but Dayna helped me feel better about it). Didn't get a nap.
Random Thought: I hate it when friends are friends when it's convenient. D and I were talking, as I have now mentioned THREE times in this entry, and she and I came to the same conclusion: while we don't mind having lots of acquaintances, when it comes to who we choose as friends, we put a lot into it. We give of ourselves, and when people don't return it except when they randomly feel like it, it's hard to get used to. Choosing your friends wisely has become more real to me. Back home, I was surrounded by this safe, close knit group of people who were all dedicated Christians and friends and brothers and sisters. It's hard to realize that not all people put the same weight into friendships as the Gang does.
Props to the Gang. *blows kisses* Eight days, guys.
I love my sister still, yes. She told me about Elizabeth Smart. Prayers are answered.
