"You've got to get your act together
You're stuck in a moment
And now you can't get out of it.
They say that nothing is forever
Now you're stuck in a moment
And you can't get out of it."
Suz and Libby and I were thinking about China, and Lib came up with the first line of an amazing poem.
"It's always tomorrow in China."
Profound, I know. And Suz is adding onto it, so for best results go
here.
I should be getting ready for church, but the next step is putting on makeup and I really don't feel like putting any on. Maybe I won't. Maybe I'll read ym and eat a Tootsie Roll pop instead. But probably not. Probably I'll go attack the eyeliner with a vengeance.
Last night, Krysten and I yelled things out the window past quiet hours. Okay, actually, only I did. Krysten made me, though. She encourages me to live on the edge. That's why we sing "Vindicated" at the top of our lungs and sometimes run around the halls of Willetts with Cale, our ex-pet dustmop greeting everyone.
Today is yesterday in China.
