Bowling last night was incredible. I broke a nail, but it's been repaired. Don't worry. Brendon, Bryan's adopted younger brother, tied his shoes in a way that I've never seen before -- with the tongues out. It's hard to describe, so I took a picture. I'll post those tomorrow.
I just ran out of the room to so I could hear my favorite monologue one last time.
We were discussing tonight who real theatre actually is. There are people on this campus who are theatre majors, but aren't actually theatre. They're wannabes. Mmm.. we're not big fans of them. Then there are those who aren't theatre majors (i.e., me, Jim Tullett) who are theatre, but not theatre majors. And we make this department run, darnit. I wonder what the point of being a theatre major is and never stepping into the actual theatre itself.
We were also discussing old theatre and new theatre, and where the line is drawn now. Janna and I are old theatre. Bekah is new. So I guess it falls somewhere on the junior/sophomore line. Those who knew Butter are the last of old theatre.
I am now going to journey out towards the parking lot (if my comm works) to see if someone is waiting in the parking lot for me. Off I go. Goodbye, Spoon River. It's been real.
