It snowed outside today, and I felt like I lived in Antarctica, but it was such a good day that it didn't even matter.
I woke up at 7:45, shuffled around my room, went to my Religion and Culture class and braved the cold. I found out that my sister had been in a car accident (love you, Rae; glad you're safe, angel-baby), and got super scared. So I called Nate and he prayed with me and I talked to my mom again and Rachel is fine.
The pet peeve of the day is crappy purple tinting on windows.
After chapel, I ate lunch with my roommate and Nate. There were chicken caesar salads, #2 on Sarah and Krysten's list of Things We Eat in Chuck's. I rocked my case study for CWVI with Anna in the Apple computer lab, and sort of had an ABP officers meeting.
Or not.
Instead, I studied with Nate in the Hive and helped Christe go over top secret plans for this summer. Nate had the
brilliant idea of going to Panda for dinner. So we did.
General Tso's makes me happy. Good fortune cookies make me even happier.
The roads were really bad on the way back, so it took FOR-EV-ER (Flashback to
The Sandlot). Post auditions for "Prophets", I holed up in the CAD lab for a few hours to get some homework done. I visited people in the Hive and passed time until callbacks for Prophets at 10, which were unbelievably difficult.
Audition panel
- Janna (director)
- Sarah (stage manager)
- Brandon (financier/makeup artist)
- Nate (assistant stage supervisor/costume designer)
- Crystal (generally cool ABP member)
We analyzed the inside out of that play, and saw so many talented people. I wish we could have cast them all.
Now I am in my room, trying to force myself to study IPC. It's not even helping.
Because somewhere out there is this person who knows my heart, and can grab my hand at the right time in the hardest monologue and know exactly how hard to squeeze.
