This weekend, Nate and I had the most successful venture to Starbucks in history. We spent
$3.21. We left with a venti cappuchino, a venti frappuchino and my beloved venti iced caramel macchiatto, which was supposed to be tall but they were feeling generous. AND
eight dessert plates. We were going to get them because they were on sale for incredible prices. Then the manager couldn't find the right number to enter them as. So he shrugged and said "I'll just give them to you for free."
I knew we should have gotten ten.
We went bowling with Becca and Josh on Saturday, then crashed at Nate's to play euchre and eat too much food. I didn't feel good, so Tim took my place and I rocked on the big swing with Rendy and Cameron. Cameron and I fell asleep. It was one of the most peaceful nights of the summer.
The drive through can be a lonely place on a Tuesday.
Yesterday, I went to the mall before meeting Nate downtown so I could pay off my Angel card. I did that, and bought Krysten's birthday present that I had been eyeing for a month. I bought Tori, my niece, a birthday present, too. And I got Nate and Cameron magic towels with Squirt from
Finding Nemo on them. I love the mall.
Friday's was good. The bruschetta chicken pasta was just what I was craving. And when I got back to my Indiana home, there was a piece of fresh peach pie, waiting for me with a pile of whipped cream on top. Here's to the night.
