Looks like we made it.
Look how far we've come now, baby.
I'm glad we didn't listen.
Look at what we would be missing.
They said, "I bet they'll never make it".
But just look at us holding on.
We're still together, still going strong.
You're still the one I run to, the one that I belong to.
You're still the one I want for life.
You're still the one that I love, the only one I dream of,
You're still the one I kiss goodnight.
I am blessed beyond your imagination. Or mine. God is so creatively good, and He has given me this man for this time of my life. I will never cease to be amazed at my Abba Father, or at this person that has chosen to stand by my side for the last twelve months.

So maybe we're having such a good time being together again and in Indianapolis that we're not going back until tomorrow.
Oh, the flexibility of Christmas break.
In other news, we are changing career paths. I am now a socialite slash trophy girlfriend, while Nate is a politician. We'll keep you updated.

P.S. We ate at Eagle's Nest tonight and it was delicious. And I am so full. And spoiled rotten. God is so good to me. As is my boyfriend. And his family.
I have the most beautiful ceramic mixing bowls in the world. Courtesy of Nate.
The Brothers Grimm = my least favorite movie ever.
I adore Restoration Hardware blankets. And am irritated at disloyal people, even when it's not me that they are 'betraying'.

On my way back to school. The night with the CT girls was out of this world.
I love love love Rachel, Dayna, Tricia, Crystal and my Ashaboo. Happy 21st, angel!

Gilbert-the-boy-cat is sitting on my lap purring. He is tired of running away from Kate, the puppy we are taking care of this weekend. In a few minutes, I will drag Gilbert-the-boy-cat up to my room to help me pack. I can't believe I go back tomorrow.
Yesterday, we had a girls' lunch at Soup's On! (that's really the name, including the exclamation point). A little shopping, then I gave a couple horseback riding lessons on Trixie, the cutest pony ever. Josh Tothe came for dinner, and now Gilbert is sitting on the computer desk with his tail in the way.
Bible study at the apartment was good. Sleepover with Dayna afterwards was even better.
Off to pack, and get ready to go out on the town one last time.

We have five inches and counting. Snow, snow, snow. Last night, Nate and I just sat and watched it come down outside. The dog was outside playing in it and with the woods all around us, it was one of the most peaceful experiences I've had this break.
That, and the roaring fire and old movies on Sunday. Having him here has been wonderful. Maybe his plane will get snowed in.. until Saturday when I fly back to Indianapolis. Keep dreaming.
Yesterday, we went to Newport, Rhode Island, with Mom and Ashley. We visited The Breakers, the Vanderbilt family's 70 room "summer cottage", drove the island, ate lunch and frolicked on the beach. We also inserted quick stops at Starbuck's and Helly Hansen.
My Dayna's alma mater lost yesterday, and it was sad. ND will rise again, babe. I believe. ;)
I am off to consider using the snowblower, getting showered, going out for coffee with Nate and Dayna and changing out of my hot green pants that I love. Catch you on the flip side.
