David came home on Monday, and all is right in my world again. There will be days at the beach, sarcastic jokes, long talks, iced coffee and maybe a water fight or two. It's summer, and it wouldn't be summer without him. Everything became a little clearer when I saw him walk out of customs at JFK.
He and Dayna came over last night, and Rae and I went with them to the mall, Target, and Dunkin Donuts. We attempted to make shopping as painless as possible for him. Iced coffees/lattes/Coolattas are also always a plus.
I am itching to get out of this office, and live my life, until I remember that Betty sits two cubicles away from me, and needs lots of hugs and prayer today. So that's what my afternoon will consist of - hugs, prayer, letters of credit, filing, purchase orders, and hopefully some laughter.
Right after I finish my chips and salsa.
