My life is such a dichotomy right now. It's hard, and I'm exhausted all the time, even though I sleep seven or eight hours a night. On the other hand, I am so happy and I'm loving watching how God is pouring blessings into my life. I keep turning around, and another one appears.
Things like raspberry sherbert nailpolish and back massages and jeans that are too long. Things like laughing with Crystal Tuxhorn in production meetings, causing trouble in rehearsal with Diane Merchant and pulling up the tape in Alford. Things like babies in high chairs with fat legs and sitting in the conference rooms in Tyler, in the SSC, in Milner, and spinning in the chairs.
Things like holding hands and being twirled in the hallway by the movement studio and smelling cologne. Things like waking up to my roommate's alarm, Bekah Nettekoven's crocheted shirt and her tripping over the floor in Alford.
It's the little things, isn't it, that God shows His glory in?

P.S. I love Facebook. And the fact that I have 55 friends twelve hours after signing up. My friends are great. And hot. ;)

The Alumni office has been crazy this week. Getting in touch with the alums who were affected by Hurricane Katrina has been at the top of my priority list. Digging through the database and trying to find people who know them has been complicated, but well worth it. I've heard some amazing stories about God's goodness and provision. Switchboard.com has become my new friend.
I spent the weekend in Indianapolis with Nate. We left after I got off of work on Friday and ate downtown at the Spaghetti Factory.. mmm.. one of my favorites. He and his dad talked business while I sat in the comfy chair in the living room, drinking tea and talking and reading with his mom. So relaxing. We stayed up late talking to Rendy about everything and more.
Saturday we shopped our hearts out. I spent no money. It was hard to stay on my budget, but I achieved my goal. :) Mrs. Fields cookies are so amazing. We ate at Smokey Bones with his uncle for lunch and Basbeaux (I missed it!) downtown for dinner. I heart their Greek salad. We rented "The Upside of Anger". It wasn't good. Don't rent it. Cameron wrapped himself up like a mummy and fell asleep after semi-traumatic surgery involving a loose tooth and pliers.
The Pats AND the Colts won this weekend. The NFL doesn't get better than this.
