Yesterday my Adidas pants and I went for a walk in the rain. There were so many good puddles and I got soaking wet and crashed on the hill behind the volleyball courts. God and I had a really good talk.
I got back and Beth was waiting with hot chocolate and the girls in the hall loved all over me.
Rainy days are some of my favorites. I slept so well last night.
Old Testament was canceled both days this week because of a Bible prof conference or something or other. Which means that I had no classes yesterday, and I won't have any tomorrow either.
It's MICHIGAN WEEK BABY. Only three days until the game.
"Our honor to defend.. we will fight to the end.. for O-HI-O."
It's been a crazy good week and I am off to Ben's Allen's house for a bonfire. It stopped raining, so why not take advantage of it and burn something?
It's Wed. November 19. at 7:20 PM. My thing is all screwed up tonight.

View from Southside
Setting: Sarah and Beth's room; book has just been fought over. Kim intervenes.
Beth: SHE
(points to Sarah) tried to hook me up with a friend of the family tonight.
Sarah nods emphatically while trying to keep from falling off the bed.
Kim: Hey, works for me.
Beth: He's DATING someone.
Kim:So? He can break up with her.
*pause* She could DIE.
two second silence followed by Sarah's hysterical laughter and final descent from the bed
Soon to be revealed: A whole website of the View from Southside.

This was a good weekend. Not great. Not amazing. But good.
Friday night was our first home basketball game. We won. 110 - 86 or something like that. I went with Christe and Lauren and the girls and we danced around and I got lots of hugs. It was good. Afterwards I went to Beans with Andy and we talked for about an hour about everything under the sun. I love hearing his views on God and life. He deserves the best girl in the world.
I am marrying Christe's cousin Reed (I've never met him, of course) so that I can be Christe's sister. Don't try to logic it all out. Just go with it.
Yesterday I got to see Joseph Reno for the first time in months and it was good. I spent the night at Emmy's and we watched a movie that shall remain nameless, followed by "Bend It Like Beckham". And today we watched "Little Women", "Father of the Bride", and "For Better or For Worse". It was a movie/TV weekend. I love my Emily.
My favorite thing right now is my puppy. And Kyle Daily makes me smile.
Sleep tight, kids.
