"Blessed be Your name
When the sun's shining down on me;
When the world's all as it should be,
blessed be Your name."
Different verses of that song have relevance and meaning in my life for different periods, but that particular one strikes my heart lately. My God continues to bless my life, with people, with events, with circumstances, with decisions, with responsibilities, and He has given me just enough.
Blessings that He has given me today:
- Dancing to "Everybody Dance Now" in my car with Tori while Robbie played DJ in the truck
- Cookie dough + bottled water delivered to me at rehearsal
- Nate taking my car to put gas in it before prices shoot out the wazoo
- A wonderful Org Training adjunct professor
- A job where I am loved, as well as paid
- A great roommate
- A shirt that says something funny that I'm not allowed to repeat on the front, and smells like Nate's detergent, Tresemme hairspray and my face wash
- Room check day (I'm still working on why that one is a blessing, exactly)
Good night, all. It's almost midnight, which is the time I crawl into bed, pray, read some from our Bible study book and some from "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn". The perfect end to a crazylong day.
Lovelove.
