Mmm.. beautiful day.
Saw Christe. Love love love her. Got a great note from Lauren on my door on pink paper. Class, class, class. Finished book one of the Christy Miller series. Ate lunch with Ben and Suzanne. Thinking about going to walk my dog. He's the cutest thing ever.
Actually, I definitely am going to go do that right now.
I have the shortest attention span at this moment.

Can someone please tell me why in tarnation a box keeps popping up that says "System 32" and it won't let me get any freaking work done?!
Frustration abounds.
Monday was the best Labor Day ever. It wins. We had a huge picnic at John Bryan and I brought my dog. He was so good, and didn't even eat any of the annoying small dogs running around. Jeremy cooked the burgers, and Lauren and I tried to teach Snow how to play Frisbee. He liked running around with it in his mouth, but not so much the catching part. It was the best way to spend a day off from school.
Ben and I went to Hop's and Target because we were hungry and needed supplies for the coming week. It was so good to see him after he had been gone all weekend. We just laughed and caught up and I told him all about what had happened in Cedarville and in the life of our dog while he was gone.
Yesterday, it was back to the grind. Krys came back! And she dragged a big white fan and a stereo with her, so now our room is complete. Well, after we figure out how to put all of our electronics in places where we don't repeatedly trip over the wires. I went to Cultural Anthropology and read through and did a ton of homework to prepare for today. Em and I wrote letters, and there was a rocking DAE meeting where we analyzed our personality types with a woman from the Counseling department. Faith and Amy brought in fajitas, salad, chicken wings and Southwest egg rolls from Chili's for our dinner.
For real, we are the most spoiled organization in the world. The school buys the ten of us so much, and we love love love them.
We would love them without the free bonus items, but they certainly are fun.
It rained today, and my hair went crazy. It was a good day to wear pink, so I did.

I think the first piercing in my right ear is getting infected. It just started hurting again. Blasted ears.
I embraced yesterday. I took Snow to a field and ran with him, then we crashed and read Philippians. I sang praise songs, but the puppy rolled over and went to sleep. It was my own personal, private beautiful time with God, and I needed it. Next Sunday I'll go back to our amazing church in Cincinnati, but for this point in my life, spending time with God alone (well, with Snow) was just what I needed.
I proceeded to come back to my room and sleep for five hours, being interrupted only to let Christe into the dorm.
After feeding the dog, showering, watching "Gilmore Girls" and removing a virus from my computer, it was time to go to Applebee's. I love it every time we go, but for some reason, last night was over the top. It was Lauren, Brittany, Christe, Ashley V., Ashley E., Daron, Jeremiah, Nathan, Mike and me. I had a salad and half of a Chimichimicheesecake. I defended Lauren when Nathan called her easy, discovered that Daron enjoys reading Song of Solomon with Ashley and her parents, and asked Jeremy to be in my wedding. If he doesn't perform the ceremony.
Today can only get better.

The weekend sneaked up on me this time. It was Friday before I knew it, and it was Friday forever. I went to El Toro with Nathan for dinner and helped him move.. Snow accompanied me, and followed me on his clumsy feet from house to house as I relocated futons and dirty dishes. I talked on the phone.. so grateful for free nights and weekends.
This morning, my puppy and I walked all over Cedarville, down to the bike path and up through the park. Tomorrow I'm going to venture into CedarFest with him, and maybe we'll work on heel. I should have entered him in the dog show, but with everyone away, it wouldn't have been as much fun.
I came back and went to lunch with Lauren.. we made chocolate chip waffles. I love her, and I'm sososo excited that she's here for the weekend, too.
I spent the afternoon behind Cedarville Elementary School, talking to everyone on my two phones and writing in my journal. I brought Snow out and set him free. We ran all over the football fields and around the bases until we couldn't take it anymore. He drank a half a bucket of water and gobbled his food down.
I had dinner at Libby's house.. her three year old brother is so cute that I wanted to bring him home. He's Robin Hood, and I'm Maid Marian. He likes weapons, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and the dollar store. What's not to love?
Libby, Lauren and I scooted over to the Danbarry Dollar Theatre to see "Little Black Book". Hated the first half hour, but loved the rest. Talked to Dayna during the Notre Dame half time show, and finished book seven of the Christy Miller series. I'm in the middle of reliving my childhood.
Tomorrow is more Snow, Applebee's half priced appetizers and maybe I'll finish the peach rings sitting on my dest. Here's to caramel frappuchinos and mini Oreos.
