If your roommate says that her old roommate was her favorite roommate and then says "Just kidding!", you should take it seriously. It could be an impending issue.
If she says you have an insecurity issue in a sarcastic tone, you should take as a sign that is identifying the issue in her own life and pat her on the head.
If you didn't get enough sleep for the past four nights, you should not be allowed to write in your online journal.

Possibly the best weekend of the semester. And it's not even over yet - I have church in Cincinnati tomorrow and a movie date with Libby to look forward to.
Friday was Girl's Night Out (we avoided the expensive chaos that was homecoming - haven't been since freshman year). We ate dinner at Chuck's and made it over to Young's while the night was young. Christe and I both had hot fudge brownie sundaes. We could have stopped the night right there, and it would have been enough. But oh, no. There is so much more to it than that.
After Young's, we drove to Huber Heights and found K-Mart. It had been years since I'd been in a K-Mart. My little preppy New England town "doesn't DO" convenience/discount stores. I had a blast. We picked up face masks, nail polish and a belly dancing DVD. Lauren and I practiced last night. She is a natural at the snake arm.
"A Cinderella Story" was playing in Huber Heights, so that was our next stop. Hilary Duff wore my dress. I decided it was okay, and got over it, because it was so beautiful. I just watched the dress, not her. Oh, and Chad Michael Murray. Christe and I clapped at the end when they kissed, and got a man behind us to clap, too. Needless to say, no one should take the two of us to a movie theatre where there are very stringent "No Talking/No Feet on the Seats" policies.
Christe and I had never been to White Castle, so we made a pit stop before going to campus. I LOVE WHITE CASTLE. The burgers are so little and cute (okay, and greasy) and the workers liked us, so they gave us extra. For free. The drive through took FOR-EV-ER, but it was worth it in the end. We were rewarded with a sucky-up bank teller thing that delieverd our food (see photos below).
The night was capped with a face mask party. Nothing else will do for a Girl's Night.
Today Lauren and I had brunch together, scooped up Christe and ran over to Beavercreek where we spent several hours shopping. For nothing. It was fantastic.
Note: I went to Starbucks TWICE today and didn't buy anything. Everyone proud? I'm taking a break from coffee this weekend since I have started to live off of it again.
Lauren, Josh, Jeremy and I had dinner at Taco Slut (thanks for the image, Reno). It took thirty minutes for our food. I am NOT kidding. It was the longest wait in a fast food restaurant than I have ever experienced before. It even beat the legendary time that Krysten spent in line at Wendy's and everyone else finished their food. Ben and his friend met us there, and we all drove over to Yellow Springs to watch "Paycheck" and "The Italian Job", armed with one sweatshirt blanket and long sleeved shirts.
The arsenal didn't hold up.
Josh and I toughed it out. I could have sat through anything to see my red Mini Cooper on a big screen, but I was blessed by being given an extra blanket, Josh's pillow and a cuddly dog named Bear who liked to lick my face.
I laughed and smiled so hard that now I can't do either. So maybe I'll go to bed and think about dogs and big movie screens and the new perfume at Frederick's. Night.
