I am now the proud owner of a new Visa Debit Card + pink checks. It matches my pretty Visa credit card very nicely.
I talked to Laura today.. her wedding is so soon.
In other news, the Chad is coming home on June 2. He better make it in time for my birthday party. Because pretty much I miss him a lot. I haven't seen him since Christmas, and really, what kind of life is that?

Someone please remind me why I chose to leave home for the summer.
Because some nights I don't remember. It's hard to remember when the trees are singing around the lake and every road fits neatly in your hand.
It's hard to remember when every other person in the grocery store knows your name and you can tell what the temperature is going to be by the color of the sky.

Oh, Connecticut.
The little dog woke me up at 5:30. Like she does every morning. Only this time, she didn't want to go back to sleep after I let her out. I wandered around for an hour or so, then got in my mom's bed and watched her big TV. I woke up to Britney and Kevin on "Ellen".
Last night, Mom, Rae and I crashed Dayna's house and watched a movie with her and her mom. We
love mother/daughter nights. This one was complete with *almost* too much junk food. D and I inhaled bowls of chips and popcorn and Oreos and Thin Mints. It's a good thing I've been running around like crazy -- calories don't stick in the summer. ;)
Maybe if I pretend it's not happening, D won't fly to Texas on Thursday.
Lazy summer days are so good for me. It's nearly impossible to be an overachiever when there's nothing going on except hanging out with your friends and baking chocolate chip cookies.
Then again, I did put a call in to my old agency and I'm going to work a couple days before I make the move to the Midwest..
I can't help myself. I love hard work.

I don't even know where to start.
I went to Taco Bell with the boys last night and it was just like old times. I let them finish off my empanada.
I woke up restless and homesick for somewhere that I'm sure of. Suzanne reassured me. I can't wait to live with her.
We're so Shabby Chic. If you don't know what that is, google it. Also google 'fainting goats' while you're at it.
